You can fix up your boat motor and get back on the water without spending too much money at a retail marine dealer.

This site has two purposes:

First: We tune-up some outboard boat motors. This site is designed as a resource to help others do the same by documenting each step in far greater detail than you would find in a service manual. If you have an outboard motor that is similar to one of our projects, you should be able to use this site to help tune-up your outboard boat motor.

Second: This site has evolved into a parts shopping site. The idea is to show a list of parts that are compatible with your Johnson/Evinrude/OMC/BRP motor. If you click on the "Motor List" menu link above, you can find your motor in the list and see a list of parts for your motor along with Amazon and eBay links to help you find the part you need and get a good deal in the process.

This site was started over 13 years ago and has helped thousands of people, from all around the world, bring their old outboard boat motors back to life. The more I work with these classic motors, the more I fall in love with them. As this site evolves, I am working on new projects and articles for your enjoyment. This site is very much alive.

This site has become internationalized. You can use the language selector and choose from over 120 languages! When you click on an Amazon or eBay link, you get directed to the appropriate site for your location, currency, and language. Outboard boat motors seem to have no borders, political, or language restrictions and this site exists for everyone to enjoy.

Please help support this site and future projects by using our shopping links when shopping for a part. Anything you buy through our Amazon.com search tool will help support this site. Amazon.com can save you money because they often list the same part from competing vendors. eBay is a great place to look for bargain pricing, as well as rare and used parts. You will often see a big difference between the dealer or retail list price, Amazon.com price, and eBay price. You can save a lot of money by clicking on our links. When you buy a part using our Amazon or eBay links, we get about 5% commission we use to fund projects and hosting fees associated with this site. There is no additional cost to you when you use our links to buy products and support this site.

We also invite you to look at our "Comments" menu link above.
