I am in need of a new or used fuel tank connecter and filter assembly (part #277187 I think) for my '66 Lightwin 3hp model 3602E as the threads are shot. Or, could I just find another fitting of appropriate size and run an inline filter to the carb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We need to know what motor your have. Can you give us the model number and possibly the HP and year? Do you know if your cylinders are getting gas? Are your plugs wet? How old is the fuel? You should have a low and maybe a high speed adjustment needle on the front of your carburetor. Take a look at my 5.5 HP project to see how to adjust the carb. You may want to take a look under the flywheel and see how your coils look. If they are cracked, then they need to be replaced.
